Chen Siyuan, a 26-year-old woman from the city of Handan in northern China's Hebei province, has the amazing ability of being able to do 12 things at one time, YanZhao Evening News reported. Chen can hold three pens in each hand and write eight different Chinese characters with her hands and her feet, all at the same time, meanwhile she can simultaneously listen to and answer questions, translate between Chinese and English, and do a math problem.

During her interview, Chen demonstrated her multitasking ability for the reporter. As she continued talking with the reporter, she picked up four pens with both hands and feet and began writing four different Chinese characters on papers. 

Chen's ability seems unbelievable. Even more incredible, she has never received any special training. She discovered her ability by chance. 

One day when she was in high school, Chen tried to write her Chinese homework and English homework at the same time using two hands. Unexpectedly, she did it very smoothly, as if she had been practicing for a long time. Many of her classmates tried to mimic her feat, but she was the only one who could do it. 

In April of 2015, Chen challenged herself to do 12 things at one time over the course of four minutes. When she succeeded, she attracted a great deal of attention from the public. A British media outlet even recorded a special program featuring Chen. 

Chen's ability has also drawn attention from the medical field. One group of researchers performed a nuclear magnetic resonance test on her brain, which revealed that her cerebral cortex has more ridges than average. This may be the reason for her ability.
