French actress Sophie Marceau released some photos and a video Sunday on the social media showing her following Chinese people to practice square dancing. The accompaniment was the Chinese song "Girls from Snow Mountain".

According to the Guangzhou Daily, Sophie Marceau was invited to attend an activity in Guangzhou on March 19. She gave the square dancing show in Guangzhou Tianhe Sports Center on the day.

She told the Guangzhou Daily that it may be a once-in-a-lifetime chance to practice the square dancing in Guangzhou for a French like her and the experience was amazing.

Talking about her feeling about dancing in the humid weather in Guangzhou, Marceau said: "The weather today is certainly not the best. I would have liked a little sunshine, but that's okay. I heard that Guangzhou has the best Chinese food. I can't wait to taste it!"

After seeing the dancing photos and video, a netizen commented that Sophie was graceful and added Ballet style to the Chinese square dancing.
