China State Power Investment Corporation (SPIC) has inked deal with Kyrgyzstan on April 6, 2016, to build hydroelectric power stations with capacity to produce around 1160 MW of hydro power in the country, Russia’s Sputnik news reported on Wednesday.
The project involves building four hydroelectric power stations along the Naryn River.
“We plan to build the hydroelectric power stations with annual capacities around 4661.6 million kW·h. We hope the paperwork will be processed soon,” said the delegate from SPIC during a meeting with Kyrgyzstan government officials, Sputnik news reported.
