Photos taken on March 9, 2016, show a bizarre building in the shape of a handset in south China’s Kunming city. The structure’s windows were in the forms of a phone’s “buttons” and “screen”. What’s more, the “phone” was being held in what seemed to be a female hand.

In an online poll in 2014, the building was enlisted as the top 10 ugliest buildings in China. It went viral again recently on China’s social media platforms. This time, the web users’ tolerance level seem higher. “Top 10? I don’t think it’s that ugly. It is an interesting shape, to be sure,” one web user commented.
