Ice engraving painting artist-Zhu Xiaodong (2)

Artist Zhu Xiaodong draws a draft at his workshop in Harbin, capital of northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, Jan. 29, 2016. Zhu is the creator of the ice engraving painting, a rubbing of engraved ice mould. It would takes a day to make a mould in the bitter cold and each mould was able to print out some 20 pages yielding variant results as the ice melted down. (Xinhua/Wang Song)
