On the evening of January 6, Party Braces Home - Jinggu "October 7" Quake Relief & Post-Quake Reconstruction Gala, sponsored by the CPC Pu'er Municipal Committee and the Pu'er Municipal People's Government, was held at Cultural Square, Yongping Town, Jinggu County, Yunnan Province.

Zhao Liantao, member of the Standing Committee and director of the Propaganda Department of the CPC Pu'er Municipal Committee, who was entrusted by Wei Xing, secretary of the CPC Pu'er Municipal Committee and Yang Zhaohui, mayor of Pu'er, attended and addressed the gala. On behalf of the CPC Pu'er Municipal Committee and the Pu'er Municipal People's Government, they extended cordial greetings and New Year blessings to Party members and cadres as well as people of all ethnic groups at the forefront of post-quake reconstruction.

The gala reproduced the scenes when a 6.6-magnitude catastrophic earthquake hit Jinggu on October 7, 2014. Such impressive programs as the dance Hymn on the Ruins and poetry recitation Party Braces Home - Bolster Up Our Spirit presented the touching stories and inspiring spirit from the forefront of quake relief and post-quake reconstruction, and artistically reproduced the memorable moments, thereby earning wide acclaim from the cadres and people of all ethnic groups in the quake-hit area.
