The Mu Family Manor is located in Qixia city, eastern China's Shandong province. It is a large-scale and well-preserved manor belonging to landlord Mu Molin. Covering an area of over 20,000 square meters, the estate is the largest manor in northern China, with more than 480 houses. The courtyards follow the arrangement style of a Siheyuan (traditional residential compound with houses around a courtyard) and are typical of the local residential houses in northern China. The manor was built during the Emperor Yongzheng period (1723–1735) of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911).
