A young Chinese woman in Xi’an, capital of Shaanxi province in northwest China, was found in the street Tuesday tossing money on the ground.

A witness disclosed that the young woman was about 20 years old. After she left, the spectators picked up the money—2,750 yuan in total.

The money was later claimed by a man who explained that the woman throwing the money was his girlfriend, and she had been throwing it because they had a quarrel.
