Zhong Guangbi, a centenarian in Pengan County, southwest China's Sichuan Province, celebrated her 100-year-old birthday with relatives and friends on Nov. 1, 2015.
The giant and eye-catching cake, provided by a young volunteer organization and a company in Nanchong city, was for 500 people to enjoy together.
People, including more than 30 persons of five generations in the family, gathered in the yard to give congratulations to Zhong.
"My mother is a hard-working and virtuous woman. Until now, she could wash clothes and cook meals by herself. Living a regular life, she is never choosy about food and crapulous, maybe this is the secret of her longevity," said Zhong's son.
