"Cloud Campus" project launched in primary school in Hangzhou

The "Cloud Campus" project was launched by Dinghui Experimental Primary School in Jianggan District of Hangzhou, east China's Zhejiang province on Tuesday.

The school has set up surveillance cameras at school gates, in classrooms, passageways and canteens. Parents just need to download apps to the cellphones to see the school's operation in real time.

The mother of Hong Taixuan, a second-grade pupil, could not wait to experience the "high technology". The cellphone screen showed clearly the hygiene situation in the canteen, including the process of vegetable's washing, cutting, cooking and serving, as well as disinfection and cleaning.

"The intelligent canteen is a livelihood project, which will truly benefit all the teachers and students. The completely transparent and open management of canteen reassure the 'safe meals' for all the teachers and students, and also strengthen the quality supervision of the canteen's cooking process," Wu Shuchao, the headmaster said.

Mother of Liu Yutong, a second-grade pupil, can't wait to experience the "Cloud Campus".
