Jose and Sarah are a couple from Cuba. They were also the professional ballet dancers in Havana.

Attracted by better career prospects, they left their warm Havana homeland for Harbin, "Ice City" in northeast China's Heilongjiang province to become dancers in Harbin Eontime World Park.

In addition to the 4 hours of performance each day, Sarah and Jose spend more than five hours in rehearsals. Despite the hard training, Sarah and Jose strive to give their best performance to their audiences every day.

"We were hoping to come to China for a long time. China is very attractive with a long history and rapid economic development. We love the harmony of Harbin city where we can see the different styles of buildings such as classical baroque, eclecticism and modern architecture," said Jose.

They are also trying to learn Chinese in their spare time. With the money that they earn from work, they travel a lot in China to appreciate the country's beautiful landscape and rich culture.

"We believe that the Chinese people's dream is a part of a global dream. We hope that Chinese and Cuban cultures can get close to each other, and the world can better understand China," said Sarah .
