The bride Wang Qifei, is a Chinese woman who teaches Erhu, a traditional Chinese musical instrument in Beijing after graduation from college. Both loving outdoor sports, they met with each other in a bike riding event to promote green transportation.

Karol’s father was a winner of the Tour de France and the bride’s younger brother is an enthusiast of bike riding, according to Wang Qifei. One day, Wang’s younger brother suggested holding a bike wedding for her sister in his bike riding group and he received many positive responses.

It is bike riding that attached them therefore Wang Qifei and Karol decided to use bikes instead of luxury cars as the wedding fleet. More importantly, it is a good way to promote the low carbon means of transportation and a memorable moment in their life, said Wang Qifei.
