
A team of Chinese peacekeepers about to set off to Liberia in 2016 were under pre-deployment training in Deqing County, Zhejiang Province. The batch from Chinese People's Liberation Army(PLA) Zhejiang Military Area Command is about to be the fourth team China send to Liberia under the UN Security Council's Resolution 1509.Six women officiers and 29 men officiers have been following tight training schedule since June 26, with every day routine ranges from combat field workshop to English classes. The women officiers took the same training amount as their male counterparts, from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., in the last two and a half month. The 35 officiers will join a 140-troop team in the 2016, taking over jobs like civilians protection,local police support and other peacekeeping missions from their predecessors.
