With the honor of 'Frog King', Dai Guohong, an amputee from southwest China's Sichuan province, participated in the finals of men's 100m breaststroke in the 9th National Games of Disabled Persons in China.
Dai lost his legs in the Wenchuan earthquake in 2008. He started to practice swimming when the doctor told him that this was the best way to get recovery. Having participating in six major swimming competitions for disabled people, he won many awards. He was the champion of the men's 100m breaststroke in National Swimming Championship for the Disabled, the bronze medal winner in the backstroke contest and has been selected as a member of the Chinese team in the 2012 Paralympic Games.
This 9th National Games of Disabled Persons is Dai's last time to participate in such a large-scale competition. After that, this retired man would go to Taiwan for studying.
