SYDNEY, Sep 14 – As an important part of ongoing defence cooperation between China, Australia and United States, Exercise Kowari 2015 was completed successfully in Australia's Northern Territory on 11 September. It is the second land-based trilateral military exercise involving Australian, Chinese and United States personnel, following the success of Exercise Kowari in 2014.
Exercise Kowari involves 30 military personnel (10 Australian Army, 10 Chinese People's Liberation Army, 5 US Army, 5 US Marine Corps) from the three nations undergoing 17 days survival training in remote inland and coastal locations in the Daly River region of Australia's Northern Territory.
