'The girl cut in two' – a beautiful rock climbing instructor in Chengdu

Yang Xiaohua, born in 1988, is a beautiful rock climbing instructor in Chengdu city, southwest China's Sichuan province. She lived an adventurous life when she studied in the university. Majoring in sports tourism and outdoor sports, she was addicted to rock climbing and had climbed many famous mountains in China, France and Switzerland.

Before 2008, Yang Xiaohua had been an indoor instructor of rock climbing training. But it was Gao Ning who really started her road of climbing. The Frenchman guided Yang and did outdoor rock climbing together with her in southwest China's Pingle ancient town. In 2009, the two people developed China's first 'railway' climbing route with length of 300 meters, which could bring happiness to the rock climbers who don’t have enough experience.

Rock climbing is an extremely dangerous outdoor sport. Yang's parents failed in persuading her to give up the dangerous job and finally respected her choice. Rock climbing is a part of Yang's life. This sunny and outgoing girl, together with her two friends, opens a company for weekend joy running and offers the routes for people who love running.

"There are two indelible dreams in my heart. One is to be a guide in French international law and mountain guide school, the other is to be a photographer in high mountains. I have deep love for mountains and I want to do many things related to them. I know I still have a long way to go, but I will never give up my dreams," said Yang.
