The first group of volunteer female soldiers who joined the army in autumn 2013 was discharged from active service after two years in the barrack.

On Sept. 6, the female soldiers from a signal company of Guangzhou Military Region put on their leisure clothes to hang out together joyfully. Having spent two years in Wuhan, these girls rarely had chances to look around this city.

The company planned a barbecue party for them particularly. These girls enjoyed the last night in the company with endless words to say.

On the next morning, these female soldiers packed up their stuff and attended the farewell party.

“Spending two years in the army, I have no regrets in spite of the hardships I have gone through. The only thing I regret is that I have not experienced enough training. At the bottom of my heart, I want to be a soldier in special troops,” said Xie Kaiting who is still sentimentally attached to the army.
