A Chinese culture "Open Day" was held by German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development on Aug. 30, 2015. Chinese Embassy in Germany organized and took part in the book display, lion dancing, food tasting and kids corner, which were very popular. More than 20 kinds of nearly 2000 books and CDs are shown on the day to introdcue characteristics of Chinese culture and achievements of China's economic and social development.
