Picture taken on August 12 shows the amazing view of a streak of shooting stars over the sky of northern Spain.

This year witnessed the most dazzling view of the meteor shower as the waning crescent moon means the night sky is dark.

The annual Perseid shooting star display peaks between August 11 to 14 , with most meteors visible between midnight and dawn. The shower produces between 50 and 100 meteors per hour.
