BEIJING, Aug. 12 -- Special Traffic control measures will be in place in Beijing's Tian'anmen area and other roads connected to the main Chang'an Street between 10:30pm and 4am on August 13 and 15.
These measures are part of a drill that will take place around Tian'anmen and areas along the Chang'an Street in preparation for the Victory day parade on September 3, to mark the 70 anniversary of the victory in the Chinese people's war against Japanese aggression.
Changes to public transportation schedules for buses and the subway system during this period will be released by the department of public transportation shortly.
Citizens are being requested to corporate with the authorities and abide by the relevant regulations.
