Summer holiday is coming. Ge weiye, 10, a grade three student in Jiangning primary school, Nanjing, put up a street stall under the scorching sun when other children stay at home watching TV and playing games.
He sells his idled books and toys, in order to buy drinks for his grandparents who are sanitation workers.
Sitting on the small wooden bench he takes with him, Ge Weiye sells some extra-curricular books, toys and snacks. Not shy at all, he behaves like a real businessman, which attracts a large number of passersby.
A man who purchased his stuff said that Ge Weiye is sensible and good at negotiation. He even offered to recite a poem of Tang Dynasty for a good price.
Ge Weiye was born in an ordinary family and the neighbors say that he is a very thoughtful boy. He felt it so tiresome for the grandparents to clean the streets in hot summer days, so he made up his mind to earn money by selling his idled stuff to buy some cold drinks and watermelons for his grandparents.
