Photo story: Disabled carpenter and his factory

Wu Chunqing, 48, lives in Wenfeng village of Chongqing city, southwest China. His left leg was paralyzed when he was two. After he graduated from high school, he worked as tailor, bricklayer and finally chose carpenter as his profession.

In 2005, Wu Chunqing established his own wooden comb factory. In a decade, the factory’s output has increased from 1,000 pieces a year to 250,000 pieces a year. More than 180 disabled people have come to learn to make wooden combs, among whom, 28 people become craftsmen at the factory.
