Johannesburg, July 3 (People’s Daily Online) — The Huawei P8 officially launched in South African market on Friday, enables light painting and perfect selfie with a simple click on a smart phone.
The P8’s Light Painting mode leverages the manual camera shutter to capture broad swaths of light, which means users can “light paint” their own freehand pictures using a small torchlight in the dark, showing the circular streams of light in an artistic photo. While Perfect Selfie mode utilizes face recognition and pre-set custom enhancement selections so that users can get perfect selfies of themselves.
The Huawei P8 is launched in South Africa for a retail price of R8,199, and will also be available with all Vodacom, MTN, Cell C, and Telkom.
Johannesburg is the latest stop in a worldwide tour that has included stops in Bangkok, Singapore, New York and London, with newly appointed GM of Huawei Consumer Business Group SA, Charlene Munilall unveiling the smart phone that balances artistry and creativity.
“The goal of the Huawei P8 is to become the most user-friendly smart phone for consumers globally. The device symbolises our continuous commitment to provide customers with access to premium quality products” said Charlene Munillal at the launching ceremony.
