BEIJING, Dec. 6 -- A cold front is expected to sweep parts of north China on Saturday, bringing a temperature drop of 3 to 5 degrees Celsius in some regions, says the National Meteorological Center (NMC).
Temperature in parts of north and northeast China, including Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Heilongjiang Province, dropped by more than 13 degrees Celsius from Friday morning to Saturday morning.
Light snow or sleet is to hit northeast China's Liaoning Province and Shandong Province in the east, while Hubei and Hunan provinces and some other southwest China regions will see light rain or showers.
Light to moderate smog is forecast for parts of Hebei Province and Tianjin Municipality in north China.
