On Sept. 20 and 21, Lv Yongjie, the Group’s Chairman and Secretary of the Party Committee, was invited to attend 2014 Singapore Summit. He met the principals of Temasek and Olam International, and negotiated with them on the matters concerned with cooperation.

Singapore Summit is an international forum sponsored by Singapore Government. Since being held for the first time in 2012, it has had increasingly great international influences. Themed on “Global Influence of Asia”, this Summit attracted plentiful attendees from more than 30 countries, and such attendees discussed how the Asia shall maintain a leading status in sustained growth, as well as the issues about Asian economic integration and its global influences, Asian geopolitics risk and its influences on global economy, global and Asian energy trend, etc. Singaporean Premier Lee Hsien Loong attended the dialogue after lunch on Sept. 20.

During the Summit, Chairman Lv Yongjie communicated and talked over with Temasek’s senior-level staff taking charge of investment and Chinese business and the CEO of Olam International, reaching the preliminary intention of cooperation in many aspects. (Gan Chunkai)
