BEIJING, September 23 (People’s Daily Online) - Around 50 pieces of Thangka paintings attracted audience at the opening ceremony of Nepal-China Arts Exhibition.

The culture festival is a good opportunity to promote Nepalese culture and Buddhism to China on people-to-people level. According to Mahesh Prasad Dahal, Consulate General of Nepal, Hong Kong SAR and Macau SAR, quite a few artists in Nepal are devoted to Thangka.

The art exhibition in Beijing will last for a week, and then it will be held in Foshan, south China’s Guangdong province, for 10 days before its trip ends in Lhasa, southwest China’s Tibet Autonomous Region.
