PNA Hails Foiling U.S. Anti-China Attempt on Human Rights

The Palestinian National Authority (PNA) on Saturday hailed the foiling of a U.S. anti-China attempt at the Wednesday session of the United Nations Commission on Human Rights (UNCHR) in Geneva, Switzerland.

In a written statement to the Xinhua office in Gaza, the PNA's Ministry of International Cooperation spoke highly of China's victory over the U.S.-led anti-China bid and expressed the PNA's support for the Chinese government and people's position towards the double human rights standards adopted by the U.S..

The Palestinians will continue its effort in supporting China's stand on the human rights, said the statement.

A U.S. anti-China attempt was foiled on Wednesday as a China- tabled "no-action" motion was passed at the 57th session of the 53- member commission, with 23 votes for, 17 against, 12 abstentions and one absentee.

This is China's 10th victory over the U.S.-led anti-China attempt since 1990. It is also the third consecutive defeat the U. S. sustained since 1999.
