More Flight Seats Added to Macao-Taiwan Routes

Airline companies in Macao and Taiwan agreed November 24 that a total of 8,000 weekly seats will be added to the current number of 28,200.

The agreement was reached between Air Macao Company Limited and the Taipei Aviation Association after negotiations in the past one and a half days.

The two sides had signed a five-year agreement on December 1, 1995, deciding a weekly quota of 28,200 seats along the Macao-Taipei and Macao-Kaohsiung routes. Air Macao has half of the quota, while Taiwan's Evergreen Airways and TransAsia Airways have a quarter of the quota each.
