Major VCD Smuggling Case Cracked in South China

Officers of the Guangzhou Customs in south China's Guangdong Province have uncovered a major smuggling case, seizing 729 boxes containing 760,000 million pirated and pornographic CDs and VCDs.

On November 15, Hong Kong-registered fishing boats were seized while attempting to smuggle the pirated CDs and VCDs from Hong Kong into Guangdong.

Along with the pirated CDs and VCDs, other products, including electrographs, computer fittings, film material and wireless microphones were also seized.
