6th CCTV Tower Climb to Be Held in Beijing

Approximately 300 contestants from various professional lines and trades in Beijing will join in the 6th CCTV Tower climb that will begin at 9 o'clock a.m. October 14.

Climbers will be organized into five groups: men's middle-age group, women's middle-age group, young men's group, young women's group, and specially invited group. The participants are supposed to set out from a nearby Trestle Bridge to compete in climbing 1484-stair 225m-high CCTV Tower after a race encircling twice the tower.

CCTV Tower climb has been a favorable and traditional activity unfolded by Beijing people since its launching six years ago.
