Cambodian 7E Road to be Undertaken by Chinese Company
A signing ceremony for the construction of the 7E highway in northeast Cambodia was held Tuesday afternoon by the Cambodian Public Works and Transportation and the China Jilin International Economic and Technical Corporation.
It is said that this is the largest bidding project won by a Chinese company from the Asian Development Bank and the World Bank in Cambodia.
The highway is between Kratie city, Kratie province, and Snul, Kompong Cham province. The road and bridges undertaken by the China Jilin International Economic and Technical Corporation totals 83 kilometers.
The construction of the project will begin on November 1 with a total cost of 11 million U.S. dollars provided by the Asian Development Bank. The project is scheduled to be completed in three years.
