CPC Delegation Leaves for Visit to Four African, European Countries

A delegation of the Communist Party of China (CPC), led by Jia Qinglin, secretary of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee, left Beijing Monday noon for an official good-will visit to South Africa and Uganda.

The delegation will also visit Egypt and Austria.

The delegation began the tour at the invitation of the African National Congress of South Africa, the Ugandan National Movement, the provincial government of Cairo of Egypt, and the mayor of Vienna.
