Sino-French Pharmaceutical Venture Set up
China Huajin Pharmaceutical Co. and Servier Pharmaceutical Corp. of France signed an agreement in Beijing Thursday to set up a joint venture in Tianjin Municipality.
The new Servier Tianjin Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., with an investment of 130 million yuan, is located in the economic and technological development zone in Tianjin, a port city near Beijing.
Construction of the company premises, covering an area of 37, 000 sq m, will start in October, and the company is expected to turn out medical products in 2003.
