FM Spokeswoman on Peruvian Election
The Chinese government is ready to work together with the Peruvian Government under the leadership of President Fujimori to further the friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries.
The remarks were made by Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Zhang Qiyue Thursday afternoon at a regular press conference while asked to common on the general election in Peru.
Zhang described the second round of the presidential election of Peru held on May 28 as the internal affair of the country, saying that the Chinese government respects the choice of the Peruvian people.
