Sichuan to Host Investment Fair
Sichuan Province in southwest China will host an exhibition on products manufactured by enterprises in coastal areas and an investment fair from May 29 to June 2. More than 200 businessmen from the United States, Britain, France, Italy, Japan and other countries, and thousands of businessmen from 16 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities in China will participate in the exhibition and the investment fair.
There will be 1,200 booths covering an area of 30,000 square meters and products to be exhibited cover light industry, chemicals, agriculture, electronics, telecommunications and machinery sectors.
A trade delegation from Shenzhen in south China, which consists of over 300 enterprise managers will come to the exhibition to be held in Chengdu, capital of Sichuan Province, according to Li Dachang, vice governor of Sichuan.
An international forum on China's development of western areas will also be held during the fair which is jointly sponsored by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the China Chamber of International Commerce and governments of Sichuan Province and Shenzhen City.
