China Former Chinese NPC Vice-Chairman Ji Pengfei Passes Away

Ji Pengfei, former vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of China's Fifth National People's Congress, died of illness in Beijing at 13:52 on February 10 at the age of 91.

Ji was a tried and loyal Communist fighter and a proletarian revolutionary, and an outstanding leader in China's diplomatic front.

He also served as vice-premier and was a member of the Standing Committee of the former Central Advisory Committee of the Chinese Communist Party.
