Culture Beijing Park to Hold Kite Show

The World Park in this capital city will hold a large kite show during the forthcoming Spring Festival.

All the kites displayed at the park will be state-of-art masterpieces from the Weifang International Kite Festival, the world's largest, which is held annually in east China's Shandong Province.

The largest kite is a two-head centipede with heads one meter long and a 60 meter-long-body, while the smallest is three meters square.

Kites have long been a traditional Chinese handicraft, and thisshow is expected to draw many visitors during the Chinese lunar New Year, which falls on February 5 this year.
