China Chinese State Councilor Meets Cuban Foreign Trade Minister

Chinese State Councilor Wu Yi told visiting Cuban Foreign Trade Minister Ricardo Cabrisas Ruiz that China was delighted over the signing of the China-Cuba bilateral agreement on China's entry to the World Trade Organization (WTO).

When meeting with Cabrisas and his party here today, Wu also thanked Cuba for its support to China's WTO entry and hoped concerted efforts from both sides could bring bilateral economic and trade relations to a new level.

Cabrisas said Cuba is grateful for China's long-term support and assistance, and will make continuous efforts to boost the bilateral trade links.

Cabrisas arrived here Monday to attend the 12th meeting of China-Cuba Economic and Trade Mixed Committee at the invitation China's Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation (MOFTEC)Shi Guangsheng.
