China Chinese Vice-Premier Meets U.S. Guests

Chinese Vice-Premier Wen Jiabaoin Beijing January 26 afternoon met with a group of U.S. guests led by Professor Michael McElroy, chairman of the Harvard University Committee on Environment.

Wen briefed the guests on China's environment and energy policy and the country's efforts on environment protection, and listened to introduction on the development of cooperative projects between Harvard University and relevant Chinese institutions.

McElroy and his party are in Beijing to attend the Sino-U.S. Research Workshop on Economy, Energy and Environment at the invitation of Qinghua University.
