Sports China Beats DPR Korea 3-0 in Semifinals

Defending champion China overwhelmed DPR Korea with a clinical 3-0 semifinal win Friday in the 12th Asian Women's Soccer Championship at the Panaad Sports Complex field in Bacolod City, Philippines.

In the other semifinal match, Chinese Taipei turned the tables on Japan by fashioning a 2-0 upset.

In a game that showcased the top level of the Asian women's soccer, the Chinese dominated from start to finish while the DPR Korea could not pierce the Chinese defensive wall no matter how they tried.
