World Egyptian, Ghanaian Ministers Discuss Ways of Enhancing Cooperation

The Egyptian interior minister conferred with his Ghanaian counterpart on ways of enhancing relations between police and security quarters of the two countries on November 9.

During the meeting, the Egyptian minister, Habib Ibrahim el-Adli, shed light on the need for boosting cooperation among police agencies at the bilateral and international levels in various countries.

El-Adli underlined the necessity to mobilize efforts among the police agencies in fighting organized crimes threatening the world security and stability, Egypt's Middle East News Agency reported.

He spoke of his ministry's firm strategy aimed at boosting the brotherly ties with other As out for them, the news agency said.

The Ghanaian minister, Nii Okaidja Adamafio, hailed the advanced expertise of the Egyptian police, spelling out his country's desire to make use of their know-how, especially in the field of police cadres training.

Adamafio and his accompanying delegation arrived here on Monday for a week-long visit, during which he will visit a number of departments of the Egyptian Interior Ministry to get acquainted with the progress achieved so far.
