Painted on the cliff of Botunzhai Mountain, the history includes 300 words recording the city's major natural disasters and war activities of 130 years ago, according to one archeologist. Many animal images such as kylin (Chinese unicorn) and horses are also painted on the rock around the text, the expert said.
