The group is attending the China-US Social Insurance Symposium, jointly held by China's Ministry of Labor and Social Security and LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRaeL, a US-based international law firm.

The two-day symposium is scheduled to focus on such topics as the reform and development of China's current social insurance system, the relationship between social insurance and commercial insurance, and the establishment and fine-tuning of insurance laws and regulations.

During the meeting, senior officials from China's Ministry of Labor and Social Security, the Ministry of Finance, and China Insurance Regulatory Commission, will give special lectures on the reform of China's social insurance system, positive fiscal policies, and the supervision and management of commercial insurance.

Participants include officials from the Legislative Affairs Office of China's State Council and related ministries, scholars from the People's University of China, and experts from well-known insurance companies both in China and the US.
