Vice governor of Shanxi Province under investigation for discipline violation

BEIJING, April 9 (Xinhua) -- Liu Xinyun, vice governor of north China's Shanxi Province, has been put under disciplinary and supervisory investigation by the country's top anti-graft body for suspected severe violations of disciplines and laws.

Liu, also head of the Shanxi provincial public security department, is being investigated by the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission.
