CPC, CPV officials hold talks on party building

BEIJING, July 25 (Xinhua) -- Senior officials of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) held talks on Thursday, pledging to enhance communication on party building.

Liu Qibao, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and head of the CPC Central Committee's Publicity Department, held talks with Dinh The Huynh, secretary of the CPV Central Committee's Secretariat and chairman of the Central Theory Council, in Beijing.

Liu suggested that the two sides increase friendly exchanges and enhance communication on the experience of state governance and party building.

He called on the two sides to beef up strategic mutual trust and properly handle their differences, so as to promote the development of bilateral relationship.

Liu commended the achievements and significance of communication between the two parties on theories. He hoped that the upcoming 9th seminar on theories between the CPC and CPV will focus on the construction of party conduct and of a clean and honest administration.

Huynh praised the development of the relationship between the two parties as well as the two countries.

He said the seminar will be positive toward the building of the two parties as well as the development of bilateral ties.

The seminar is scheduled to take place from July 27 to 29 in Dalian, in northeast China's Liaoning Province.
