N China explosion kills 1, injures 3

One person was killed and three were injured when an explosion tore through a bungalow in north China's Tianjin Municipality on Monday, local authorities and witnesses said.

The blast happened in Jinnan District in the afternoon. The resulting fire was put out at around 4:44 p.m., according to the police.

The cause of the accident in under investigation.
