Rainstorms and floods have wreaked havoc on China's northeastern and southern regions.
The National Meteorological Center (NMC) expects heavy rain will continue to batter many parts of the country for the next three days.
Rainstorms will sweep across the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region; north, northeast and parts of of northwest China; and southwest China's Sichuan Basin from Tuesday to Thursday, accompanied by thunderstorms and gales.
Some parts in Sichuan Basin and the Chongqing Municipality may be hit by downpours of up to 90 millimeters within 24 hours.
The NMC has warned local authorities to be on high alert against flooding and landslides.
