Coach hits truck in E China, casualties unknown

JINAN, March 10 (Xinhua) -- A coach carrying more then 20 people hit a truck on Yantai-Qingdao highway in east China's Shandong province Sunday.

Casualties of the accident, which occurred at the border area of Fushan District and Qixia County of Yantai City, are still unknown, said local authorities.

The accident happened at around 3 p.m. The driver's cab of the truck was seriously damaged.

The injured people have been sent to hospital.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
