BEIJING, September 3 (ChinaMil) -- Fang Fenghui, member of the Central Military Commission (CMC) of the People's Republic of China (PRC) and chief of general staff of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA), met with Muhammad Enamul Bari ndu, psc, the visiting chief of staff of the Bangladesh Air Force, and his party in Beijing on September 2, 2013.
Fang Fenghui said that China and Bangladesh are close and friendly neighbors. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries 38 years ago, the relations between the two countries have been developing healthily and smoothly, and the relations between the Chinese People's Liberation Army and the Bangladesh Armed Forces have been constantly deepened, as evidenced by in-depth and pragmatic exchanges and cooperation at all levels and in all fields.
The two militaries are expected to actively meet the new requirements for development of the comprehensive cooperative partnership between the two countries and further strengthen high-level contacts, personnel training and cooperation in equipment technology, so as to constantly push forward the relations between the two militaries, Fang told his Bangladeshi guests.
Enamul said that the Bangladeshi side is grateful to the Chinese side for its valuable support and assistance in the development of the Bangladesh Armed Forces, especially that of the Bangladesh Air Force, and is willing to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation between the two militaries, so as to make contributions to deepening the friendship between the two countries and the two militaries.
