China and Kyrgyzstan held a joint anti-terror drill on Aug. 11, under the auspices of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization(SCO). The exercises took place along the border between the two nations. Around 460 armed police from both countries took part, practising new weapons and manouvers. The drill aims to improve both countries’ abilities to cooperate in their response to terrorist threats.
